Disinfo: The EU remains a vassal of Anglo-Saxons, a status it cannot afford anymore

Summary

The EU cannot afford to be a younger partner of the US anymore. Cons of being a part of the united West outweigh the pros, and the EU can only preserve and strengthen if it becomes truly sovereign. The EU continues balancing between loyalty to Atlantic solidarity which means the continuous vassal dependence on Anglo-Saxons and slight movements towards geopolitical sovereignty.

Disproof

This article touts a recurring pro-Kremlin propaganda narrative about lost sovereignty / external control, specifically about the EU's dependence on the US and so-called "Anglo-Saxons". In the pro-Kremlin media, the term “Anglo-Saxons” stands for the US and UK and often means “evil”, “belligerent” and “morally corrupt” Westerners, as explained in our earlier analysis.

The US does not control the EU. The EU Member States are sovereign countries and make sovereign decisions about their own security and foreign policies, including relations with Russia. The decisions in the EU are made by the directly elected European Parliament, the European Commission together with the European Council (the governments of the 27 EU countries).

See earlier disinformation cases alleging that Russophobic Poland, controlled by Anglo-Saxons, plans to occupy Belarus, that Anglo-Saxons rule America “from abroad” and are now trying to control Russia, and that Anglo-Saxons are on the edge of an anti-Russian attack.

Disinfo: The European Union is an enemy of the national sovereignty of its member states

The European Union is an enemy of the national sovereignty of its member states and wants to destroy European ethnic nationalities by means of its anti-white policies. The EU allows immigrant invaders to easily enter Europe.

Disproof

This article combines three recurrent and inter-related pro-Kremlin narratives. The first narrative claims that the EU has robbed member-states of their sovereignty, the second suggests that the EU seeks to destroy European ethnic nationalities, and the third accuses the EU of allowing uncontrolled migration into Europe.

These narratives are often spread by pro-Kremlin outlets in order to promote  euro-scepticism in Europe.

Disinfo: No conclusive evidence of Russia's involvement in SolarWinds hacking

Experts investigating the piracy of SolarWinds computers have concluded that the cyber criminals who committed this crime have succeeded in cleaning the crime scene completely, so that it is impossible for the investigators to determine who was behind it. If so, what are the reasons for blaming Russia in general and the Russian intelligence in particular?

We are back to vague expressions like the famous "highly likely" of former British Prime Minister Theresa May when she accused Russia of the alleged poisoning of double agent Sergey Skripal. Therefore, this is closer to the sick Western speculation and imaginations, than to the facts and concrete evidence.

Disproof

Pro-Kremlin disinformation denying any Russian involvement in the SolarWinds hacking in late 2020.

While it is always difficult to attribute responsibility in hacking attempts, multiple state-linked and independent researchers from all over the world have found evidence linking Russia to the SolarWinds hacking. The FBI, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and the National Security Agency (NSA) of the US all concluded that Russia was behind the cyber-espionage incident, as did the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) of the UK. On January 2021, cybersecurity experts from Kaspersky discovered that the hackers had deployed malicious computer code tied to a hacking group known as “Turla”, widely suspect of operating on behalf of Russia’s FSB security service. On 24 February 2021, Microsoft president and chief legal officer Brad Smith declared in a US Senate hearing that “substantial evidence” pointed to Russia’s foreign intelligence agency, and to have found “no evidence” leading them anywhere else. In the same hearing, FireEye CEO Kevin Mandia also pointed that forensics were “not very consistent with cyberespionage from China, North Korea or Iran” but “most consistent with cyberespionage and behaviors we've seen out of Russia”. Other cybersecurity researchers reached similar conclusions.

Disinfo: In Sweden raping women is becoming a right for men of colour

In Sweden, Swedish women have no protection from sexual assault by men of colour. Raping Swedish women is becoming a right for men of coulour. Swedish women are afraid to report rapes because they might be accused of hate crimes by the police just because they denounced sexual assault by a man of colour.

The Swedes are such sheep that they reelect governments that favor immigrant invaders over ethnic Swedes.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin narrative on the “invasion of Europe” by migrants and on Europe’s migration crisis presented without supporting evidence.

It is not true, as the article claims, that Swedish women are not protected from sexual assault by migrants. In 2018, Sweden passed a new law changing the legal definition of rape to non-consensual sex, implying that it is no longer owed to the prosecutor to prove that there was a threat, coercion or violence. This has led to greater protection for victims of sexual violence and consequently an increase in rape complaints. Furthermore, the Swedish police do not collect information on the ethnicity, religion, or race of perpetrators or victims of crime.
