Disinfo: The government of Armenia obediently implements globalists' programmes

Summary

The government of Armenia, which was brought to power by the globalists in 2018, obediently implements their programmes.

The war in Artsakh, the perversion of the people, the vaccinations, all these are globalist programmes.

Disproof

A recurring narrative promoting the message about global elites secretly ruling the world, changing powers, provoking colour revolutions, and threatening traditional values. The disinfo claim also includes a recurring narrative about vaccinations as a globalists new plot against the world.

The idea of a "deep state" or global elites has always been very popular among conspiracy theorists.

There was no coup organised by globalists in Armenia, but peaceful protests of hundreds of thousands of people in response to Serzh Sargsyan's third consecutive term as the country’s prime minister and former president for a decade. Sargsyan resigned in response to overwhelming opposition pressure.

The escalation in the Nagorno-Karabakh region in 2020 was a continuation of the decades-old conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

This article also aimed at portraying the West as immoral, degenerate, spreading perversion. The narrative of 'threatened values' is one of the most common narratives used by pro-Kremlin outlets.

See earlier disinformation cases alleging that global neo-colonialists stage colour revolutions and conquer indigenous national elites, that Armenia is under Soros occupation, that Armenia is occupied by foreign agent network, and that CIA and MI6 changed power in Armenia in order to oust Russia from the region.

Disinfo: Eastern Partnership one of the main channels for destabilising the situation in Belarus

Representatives of Belarus will not take part in the Eastern Partnership summit to be held in December. Cooperation in the Eastern Partnership will be limited only to working contacts.

The Eastern Partnership has become one of the main channels for destabilising the situation in Belarus.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narratives about Belarusian protests and the Eastern Partnership.

The Eastern Partnership (EaP) is a joint policy initiative which aims to deepen and strengthen relations between the European Union (EU), its Member States and its six Eastern neighbours: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.

Disinfo: West should not accuse Belarus of the migrant crisis but start a dialogue with Minsk

West failed in peaceful dialogue with Minsk. Lithuania and the US put pressure on Belarus showing the world their double standards.

It is wrong to accuse Belarus of the migrant crisis on the Eastern border of the EU. The responsibility for it, first of all, should take the US. It is because of the US military interventions and bombings that millions of people were forced to seek asylum abroad.

Talks with Belarus are possible only in conditions of mutual respect and equality. It is time for the West to finally understand this, no matter how sick its brain is.

Disproof

The narrative mixes a few messages including disinformation about the migration crisis on the border of Belarus with Lithuania, Latvia and Poland, as well as the accusation of the West of the aggressive behaviour toward other countries.

The claims the West was involved in unfriendly actions towards Belarus or that it has some aggressive geopolitical plans or contempt for the sovereignty of this country are unfounded. The West continues to support the Belarusian people, respects the principles of international law and does not intervene in the domestic affairs of any country.

Disinfo: Russia has enough proof about US interference in the parliamentary elections

Russian authorities have enough proof that US high tech companies have been interfering in State Duma elections.

Disproof

This case is part of a developing disinformation narrative promoted by pro-Kremlin media outlets in response to the 2021 Russian legislative (Duma) elections which took place on 17th-19th September 2021.

No evidence is provided to support the claims. In the lead up to the elections, Russian authorities have been trying to restrict the so-called smart voting, an electoral method initiated by poisoned and jailed opposition leader Alexei Navalny, according to which opposition-leaning Russian voters could support local candidates. The method was initiated due to the disintegrated nature of the Russian opposition.
