The Armenian Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations rejected the proposal of the opposition Yelk bloc to consider the issue of the country’s withdrawal from the Eurasian economic union.
No evidence given. On September 27 the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly gave a negative conclusion to a draft law, which envisaged setting up a temporary commission to study the benefits and disadvantages of Armenia’s membership in the EAEU. There was no discussion of terminating the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty by Armenia even at the session of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations.
