Disinfo: The Polish policy towards Belarus is driven by the intensifying Polish obsession with Russia

The Polish attitude towards Belarus is not the attitude to a normal state, but an attitude driven by the intensifying obsession with Russia.

This message is a part of the ongoing Russian disinformation attack on Poland, accusing this country of Russophobia, an information war against Russia and manipulation with history for political reasons.

The foreign policy of Poland and the Polish policy towards Belarus are not shaped by the alleged “obsession with Russia” or Russophobia – they are based on the principles of international law and mutually beneficial cooperation.

The main current disagreements between Poland and Russia are a result of the Russian annexation of Crimea and its involvement in the military conflict in Donbas. The Polish government shows its full support to solving the Russia-Ukraine conflict and complete restoration of territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Constant intimidation with Russia is used to make Poland economically dependent on the USA

The goal of Mr. Waszczykowski [former Head of the Polish MFA] is deeper economic dependency of Poland on the United States, this is manifested in the purchasing of expensive American gas. There is no talk about any military conflict in the region or a military confrontation between NATO and Russia as these are unreal.

The constant intimidation with Russia and the spread of Russophobia has an economic dimension. Poland has to purchase American gas and weapons, provide the USA with beneficial concessions for the extraction of silver and copper and boycott the tax on the American digital giants (despite the EU position).

A common pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative on “lost sovereignty”. In the case of Poland, this country is often presented as a “puppet-state” or a “banana republic” of the United States, which fully controls its domestic and foreign policy.

Poland is a sovereign state, which shapes its own foreign and domestic policies. The political, economic and military relations between Poland and the United States have a mutually beneficial character. In terms of the purchase of the American LNG, according to the statement of the Head of the Polish state-owned energy concern PGNiG Piotr Woźniak, the deliveries of the American LNG are cheaper than Russian gas by over 20%.

Accusations against the USSR on outbreak of WWII are blasphemy

It is regrettable that the politicians of particular countries try to distort and re-write history, trying to justify the Nazi collaborators and almost accuse the USSR of the outbreak of WWII. This situation is blasphemy and a lack of remembrance. It does not happen without reason – they try to deprive us of our spiritual roots, our memory and common moral values.

This message is part of the Kremlin’s policy of historical revisionism and an attempt to erode the disastrous historical role of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact through statements that the USSR was forced to sign this pact; other European countries signed various international agreements with Adolf Hitler and the Munich Agreement triggered WWII.

The signing of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact was a mutual decision of two totalitarian regimes (Nazi Germany and the Stalinist USSR) aimed at the division of Eastern and Central Europe between these two powers. It is a proven fact that the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact contained the Secret Supplementary Protocol, which assumed the division of Poland and other Eastern European countries between the USSR and Germany. Thus, the signing of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact triggered the beginning of WWII.

The EU is a crazy Moloch – its dictate starts to be unacceptable

The dictate of the EU starts to be unacceptable. The UK has left the EU and probably, it will become stronger. The EU is a crazy Moloch.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative on the undemocratic EU and its dictate over the EU members.

Moloch is a Canaanite god associated with child sacrifice. In Slavic languages, this term is sometimes used to described something big and terrible.
