The reports about the chemical attack allegedly carried out by the Assad air forces in the province of Idlib, are pure falsification because Syria doesn’t possess any chemical weapons now: The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) confirmed this fact in its report in 2014.
On April 19th, the OPCW Director-General Üzümcü stated clearly: “The results of these analyses from four OPCW designated laboratories indicate exposure to Sarin or a Sarin-like substance. While further details of the laboratory analyses will follow, the analytical results already obtained are incontrovertible.” bit.ly/2oMigR9, . On August 24, 2016, the OPCW submitted to the UN a report confirming the use of chemical weapons by the Syrian regime after the date when the Syrian authorities pledged to stop using it and completely transfer it for destruction [see the ‘Letter‘ (24 August, 2016) from the Secretary-General addressed to the President of the Security Council (the third report of the OPCW-UNJIM) – issued by the third report of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons-United Nations Joint Investigative Mechanism bit.ly/2qajkfE, .
