Disinfo: Three Seas Initiative is a pro-American, anti-Russian and Eurosceptic bloc of countries

Summary

Behind the curtain of the Three Seas Initiative, there is a concept of the North-South belt of the anti-Russian and Eurosceptic countries, which separate Germany from Russia. It is a fundamental geopolitical sense for the establishment of the Intermarium. It is supposed to be a strong, pro-American, anti-Russian, Eurosceptic bloc of countries, which will try to build its own identity and its independence. The scale of this independence will be determined by the interests of the United States.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about regional organisations in Central and Eastern Europe – this narrative presents such organisations as Eastern Partnership and the Three Seas Initiative as anti-Russian projects managed by the USA.

The statement that the Three Seas Initiative is an anti-Russian and anti-EU project fully controlled by the USA is a conspiracy theory.

The Three Seas Initiative is a forum of 12 countries from Central and Eastern Europe launched in 2015. The main goal of this Initiative is to promote better connectivity among the Member States, with a particular focus on infrastructure and energy. The main projects discussed at the forums of the Three Seas Initiative are the Via Carpathia, Baltic-Adriatic Corridor, Via Baltica, Rail Baltica and the LNG infrastructure in Poland and Croatia.

US media allegations of Russian meddling in US elections are not based on any evidence

US media allegations of Russian meddling in US elections are not based on any evidence and are only part of the US internal political confrontation.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative attempting to depict accusations of Russian meddling in Western democratic processes as factually unfounded and driven by “Russophobia”.

Robert Mueller's investigation concluded that Russia did interfere in the 2016 election. Mueller’s report maintains that “the investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities”. Nevertheless, it states that Russian interference activities did take place.

The death of Georgia’s statehood and Georgians as a nation is a matter of time

Georgia is a sham country, where at the state level a game of independence of the supposedly European type is being played. It is also accompanied by a fake game of supposed democracy, with the priority of protecting the incomprehensible rights of LGBT people, protecting the rights of everyone except the rights of Georgia and its citizens of sound mind. Accordingly, in this country the law has no force, the law acts selectively, which means that the law does not work in Georgia. In Georgia, the law is not only under someone’s authority, but this “someone” is outside the country, is a foreign force (but not Russia). It turns out that the law does not work for Georgians twofold, and the death of Georgia’s statehood that has not yet taken place is a matter of time. Not only statehood is dying, but also Georgians as a nation. It happens through the recruitment of young people and promoting to them anti-Russian propaganda, which contains many elements that undermine their interest in religion, military affairs, everything traditional and devotion – everything that Plato considered the fundamental basis of raising children.

Disproof

A recurring pro-Kremlin narrative about lost sovereignty, challenging Georgian statehood, nationality and values, as if Georgia is ruled by the West and cooperation with the Western institutions destroys the country's sovereignty.

Media Development Foundation's media monitoring results revealed that the narrative that the West is meddling in sovereign affairs of Georgia and virtually run the country, is one of the main trends of anti-Western propaganda and disinformation in the country.

US embassy demands Ukraine adopts a law introducing censorship

The new media law, which the US Embassy is demanding to adopt, is designed to finally introduce censorship in Ukraine. One must understand that democracy is the opinion of licensed democrats, and they do not tolerate dissent.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative on Ukraine mixed with a narrative that Ukraine is under external control from the US, NATO, the EU, or IMF.

The US does not demand to adopt the new media law. The US embassy in Ukraine supported the new media law as a progressive one. Moreover, the US is ready to cooperate with Ukraine in countering disinformation and developing the capabilities of public broadcasting in Ukraine.
