Disinfo: The US enters an era of neo-liberal totalitarianism

A new age is dawning in the US, that of neo-liberal totalitarianism, which will bring a new wave of censorship, political witch hunts of the “white oppressors” and the supporters of Trump. The neo-liberal agenda is likely to dominate all spheres of life, especially in the US, but it will also start leaking throughout the world.

A conspiracy theory, presented without any evidence, smearing Joe Biden.

The Presidential election in November 2020 gave a clear victory for Joe Biden. 20 January 2021 marks the transfer of power from the incumbent president to the President-Elect. Neither witch-hunts, nor totalitarianism is on the agenda for Biden’s government.

See earlier related disinformation claims, alleging that contemporary liberalism is totalitarian and a crime against humanity; that "deep state" won't allow Joe Biden to soften US policy towards China; that Joe Biden was elected thanks to a massive election fraud.

NATO prepares to attack Russia

The Alliance prepares to attack Russia.

NATO’s aggressive actions near Russia’s borders may indicate the alliance’s preparation for an attack.

This is a recurring disinformation narrative about an alleged belligerent NATO, portraying the Alliance as a threat to peace.

NATO is a defensive alliance, whose purpose is to protect its member states. NATO is regularly updating the military requirements for civilian infrastructure, at a time when there are increased challenges to security.

Russia is not a party of the conflict in Ukraine at all

In the view of the German government, Russia does not exert sufficient influence on the Donetsk and Luhansk Republics. It should be noted here: Russia is not a party to the conflict at all, but actually a mediator. Regardless of this, it is being overburdened with sanctions – an absolutely cynical process.

A recurring pro-Kremlin narrative about the alleged lack of evidence of the presence of Russian troops involved in the war in East Ukraine. There is irrefutable evidence of direct Russian military involvement in eastern Ukraine.

The Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court has stated that "the information available suggests that the situation within the territory of Crimea and Sevastopol amounts to an international armed conflict between Ukraine and the Russian Federation. This international armed conflict began at the latest on 26 February 2014 when the Russian Federation deployed members of its armed forces to gain control over parts of the Ukrainian territory without the consent of the Ukrainian Government".

German foreign policy always seeks confrontation and destabilisation

States that protect their markets from foreign, especially Western, encroachment are particularly affected by the aggressive attacks of German foreign policy. The German government’s foreign policy engagement is about German access to markets and resources. Typical German moral arrogance is merely the means of legitimising the aggressiveness of its own actions. German [foreign] policy is not ethically responsible. It always has a destabilising and disintegrating effect. Today’s German foreign policy has no record of success in conciliation, pacification or any other positive development. Germany seeks confrontation, German foreign policy does not serve peace.

Popular pro-Kremlin narrative of the aggressive and warmongering West. In this case, in relation to German foreign policy. The assertion that German foreign policy has destabilising and aggressive features is entirely unfounded. Germany runs a large number of multilateral crisis prevention programmes, peacebuilding activities and missions both within the framework of the EU, the UN and other multilateral organisations.

The assertion that German foreign policy is not committed to peace is also baseless and without evidence. According to the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), German peace policy – is an overarching task for all German government ministries.
