Belgium's Prime Minister Charles Michel said that the EU had made a decision not to support the extending of sanctions against Russia

During a meeting between Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and his Belgian counterpart, Belgium’s Prime Minister Charles Michel said that the EU had made a decision not to support the extending of sanctions against Russia.

Disproof

Economic sanctions against Russia were last extended on 21 December 2017, until 31 July". http://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/press/press-releases/2017/12/21/russia-eu-prolongs-economic-sanctions-by-six-months/ This is the last official EU decision relating to EU economic sanctions against the Russian Federation.

EU will allegedly lift sanctions

Belgian PM Charles Micheal told the press after his meeting with Dmitrij Medvedev that the EU has had enough of self-inflicted harm and will stop supporting the sanctions. The reason for the conflict in Eastern Ukraine – which brought about the EU sanctions – is the US-led coup. Russia does not even have troops in the Donbas and their support for the two separatist republic is only a way to stop the Ukrainian government.

Disproof

Repeating earlier disinformation about lifting sanctions. Economic sanctions against Russia were last extended on 21 December 2017, until 31 July". http://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/press/press-releases/2017/12/21/russia-eu-prolongs-economic-sanctions-by-six-months/. This is the last official EU decision relating to EU economic sanctions against the Russian Federation. // The demonstrations which began in Kyiv in November 2013 – called "Maidan", or "Euromaidan" – were not provoked from outside but were a result of the Ukrainian people's frustration with former President Yanukovych's last minute U-turn when, after seven years of negotiation, he refused to sign the EU–Ukraine Association Agreement and halted progress towards Ukraine's closer relationship with the EU as a result of Russian pressure. The protesters' demands included constitutional reform, a stronger role for parliament, formation of a government of national unity, an end to corruption, early presidential elections and an end to violence http://bit.ly/2ftv6iT. // Despite the fact that pro-Russian propaganda regularly claims there are no Russian troops in Ukraine, multiple reports and aerial footage suggests there are Russian forces in Donbas. A monument to the fascist Garegin Nzhdeh was erected in Armenia

A monument to the fascist Garegin Nzhdeh was erected in Armenia in 2016.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation: euvsdisinfo.eu/report/armenia-glorifies-fascism/, Nzhdeh was one of the prominent military leaders of a short-lived independent Armenian republic formed in 1918. In 1920, he mounted armed resistance against the republic’s takeover by Bolshevik Russia in Zangezur, a mountainous region in what is now southeastern Armenia. He is widely credited with preserving Armenian control over Zangezur. Further debunking and background of the petition where the disinformation appeared: sut.am/en/archives/2426,
