NATO is, by all means, urging Ukraine to continue with the conflict in Donbas. It is a military alliance, which should be concerned with security issues. However, it panders to Kyiv. Being in close contact with the Kyiv regime, NATO does not express concern over what is happening in Donbas, egging Kyiv politicians on instead. Children, women and elderly people are dying. The European Union, with its powerful economy, armed forces and intelligence services, is watching what is happening in the very heart of Europe. It is not just watching, it is inspiring the Kyiv regime. The EU has never called on Ukraine to return to the table of negotiations and stop the escalation. The EU has toughened its rhetoric towards Russia.
The US is trying to promote a revolution in Hong Kong.
Recurring pro-Kremlin narrative alleging that the Hong Kong protests are sponsored and provoked by the US and/or by Western states. This narrative converges with the narrative that the US is behind colour revolutions around the world.
There is no evidence that the Hong Kong protests are being promoted by the US or any other Western government. The protests began spontaneously and peacefully in 2019 and have taken the name of the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Bill Movement. People took to the streets to demonstrate democratically against this controversial extradition law.
The protests lasted for days. Police crackdowns on protesters turned the popular demonstration into a months-long battle in which protesters demanded political reforms and prosecution of police violence.
Read similar cases claiming that clashes in Hong Kong are financed and organised by the US in order to destabilise China, that Hong Kong is destroyed with the technology of colour revolutions or that the protests in Hong Kong are US-funded.
