DISINFO: The US proxy war against Russia has turned Ukraine into a graveyard

SUMMARY

The US, whose military apparatus is interested in testing new weapons and in making stratospheric profits, has launched a proxy war against Russia in Ukraine. As a result of this, Ukraine has been turned into a graveyard.

RESPONSE

Recurring disinformation about the war in Ukraine.

Russia is the only country responsible for the invasion of Ukraine. It has been coming up with different explanations and pretexts for its aggression since the beginning of its hostilities. Moreover, Russia was not forced to invade Ukraine. It was Putin’s personal decision to invade Ukraine and start the largest military conflict in Europe since WWII.

Ukraine is a sovereign state. US and Western countries are not responsible for the war. This is not a proxy war. Western leaders have continuously called for talks and a peaceful solution to stop Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, but Moscow has been ignoring these efforts. Western nations did everything they could to prevent the war and have only been reacting to Russia’s full invasion.

The US, the EU and some NATO member states provide Ukraine with military assistance, not to test new weapons, as falsely claimed by pro-Kremlin outlets but to repel Russia's unprovoked aggression. Ukraine receives weapons with the sole aim of restoring its territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders.

Read similar cases claiming that EU leaders gave Ukrainian Nazis money to buy weapons that West rumps up arms supplies to Ukraine to destroy Russia that The EU mindlessly invests heavily in prolonging hostilities and that the proxy war of the West against Russia started with the Maidan coup in 2014.
