The interventions of the US, the EU and NATO resulted in civil war in Ukraine and Russia played no role in this

Summary

The US, the EU and NATO intervened in Ukraine, which resulted in civil war. Russia had nothing to do with it.
“Since the interference and subversion of the USA, the EU and NATO, a precarious civil war takes place in the country which, at the same time, is the driving force of an impending war against Russia… The ‘Ukrainian democracy movement’, the “Maidan”, was a chimera, an invention cooked up in the poisonous kitchens of the Western secret services”.

Disproof

No evidence given. Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation about the war in Ukraine and Ukraine's statehood.

The Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court has stated that "the information available suggests that the situation within the territory of Crimea and Sevastopol amounts to an international armed conflict between Ukraine and the Russian Federation". This international armed conflict began at the latest on 26 February when the Russian Federation deployed members of its armed forces to gain control over parts of the Ukrainian territory without the consent of the Ukrainian government.

The European Union stated in July 2014 that "arms and fighters continue flowing into Ukraine from the Russian Federation".

According to the US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Russian special forces and troops operated to mobilize, lead, equip, and support separatist militias in the Donbass region in Eastern Ukraine from spring 2014 to the present, although their presence was denied by Moscow.

Russian President Vladimir Putin admitted Russia's military presence in Ukraine in 2015.

EU grants and loans to Georgia are for resettling migrants rather than infrastructure development

The money which Georgia loaned from Germany after Chancellor Merkel’s visit on the 22nd August 2018 is likely not to be intended for infrastructure projects, as the two sides declared, but rather for the resettlement of migrants in Georgia.

The EUR 3.4 billion, which the EU recently allocated to Georgia, will probably also be spent on creating good living conditions for migrants in Georgia.

Disproof

The EU, and Germany in particular, demanding resettlement of migrants to Georgia is a recurring pro-Russian narrative (see earlier EU vs Disinfo cases here and here and Mythdector reports here and here).

The only migrants German Chancellor Merkel discussed during her visit to Tbilisi were Georgians seeking asylum in Germany. The development cooperation deals totalling more than EUR 193 million included drinking water, waste water, and natural gas storage facility projects (see earlier EU vs Disinfo cases here and here and a Deutsche Welle report on the visit here).

Eastern Europe is left behind as the rich Europeans unite

The Aachen agreement between Germany and France creates a high-speed Europe relying on French nuclear weapons and German industry. Eastern Europe will be hopelessly outside this Brave New World, created by the rich Europeans.

Disproof

Donald Tusk, president of the European Council, stated at a speech on the occasion of the signing of the Aachen agreement, that the agreement is strengthening European integration

According to the Financial Times, rather than an inevitable march towards a Franco-German superstate, diplomats say the treaty is like its predecessors: a way to avoid outright economic and diplomatic competition between the EU’s strongest continental powers and keep some focus on shared projects.

Neo-Nazis are increasingly influential in the Ukrainian parliament and government

In Ukraine, neo-Nazis are increasingly influential in the parliamentary system and government. Their presence in political system is the result of the Maidan coup in Ukraine.

“Reports about the murderous activities of the neo-Nazis and their dominating influence on parliament and government are completely taboo”.

“The East Ukrainian population resisted the Maidan coup and since then has to suffer Poroshenko leading one military attack after another against them”.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation about Ukraine and the Nazis that has been repeated since the outbreak of the Euromaidan revolution and coup in Ukraine.

There are no Nazis in the government nor in the parliament of Ukraine. The insignificance of the "Right Sector" is evident from the election results – their candidate received 0.7% of the vote in the May 2014 presidential elections, and the party received 1.8% of the vote in the October 2014 parliamentary elections. It is far short of the threshold needed to enter the parliament.
