Disinfo: The West has deceived Ukraine, which now has problems

Summary

Ukraine has been deceived by the West and, as a result, now has to deal with problems. Ukraine did not join the Eurasian Economic Union in the East, but they are not allowed to join the European Union or NATO. Joining them in the near future is nonsense.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation about Ukraine.

Ukraine is a priority partner for the European Union, also within the EU's Eastern Partnership. The EU is unwavering in its support for the country's territorial integrity and sovereignty and sees the full implementation of the Minsk agreements as the basis for a sustainable, political solution to the conflict in the east of the country. Since spring 2014, the EU has stepped up its support for economic and political reforms in Ukraine. Read more about relations between the EU and Ukraine here.

Relations between NATO and Ukraine date back to the early 1990s and have since developed into one of the most substantial of NATO’s partnerships. Since 2014, in the wake of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, cooperation has been intensified in critical areas.

EU’s ambassador to Russia dreams of Russia falling apart

EU’s ambassador to Russia dreams of Russia falling apart.

Disproof

The disinformation misattributes a quote to the head of the EU delegation to Russia, ambassador Markus Ederer. In its article, News Front had attributed the quotes from EU Observer's anonymous source to the ambassador.

Ambassador Ederer's own comments in the EU Observer article were the following:

Masonic-Jesuit conspiracy is behind the situation in Venezuela

The Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido studied in a Catholic university. Vatican, which oversees all the Catholic universities in the world, is an old partner of Washington in the “color revolutions” (e.g. in Ukraine) and played a big role in organising the coup in Venezuela.

Guaido also received a master’s degree in management at the George Washington University, where, for example, Mikheil Saakashvili studied. Apart from studying, Guaido joined the totalitarian sect of Freemasons. Saakashvili also became a Freemason in the US.

Vatican is strongly linked to the Freemasonry. Over the past year, it has been actively involved in organising insurrections against legitimate governments in Hong Kong, Nicaragua, Belarus, and Brazil. It is also involved in the organisation of a “colour revolution” in Poland, together with the US.

In fact, the Holy Fathers have turned into an ideological tool of the anti-Christian minded globalists.

Disproof

No evidence given. Pro-Kremlin conspiracy about Venezuela, Western meddling and Vatican.

Nicolas Maduro was officially re-elected president of Venezuela on May 20, 2018.  Several Venezuelan NGOs, such as Foro Penal Venezolano, Súmate, Voto Joven, the Venezuelan Electoral Observatory and the Citizen Electoral Network, expressed their concern over the irregularities of the electoral process, including the lack of the Constituent Assembly's competencies to summon the elections, impeding participation of opposition political parties, and the lack of time for standard electoral functions.

Trump plans a raid to seize Venezuela

Washington’s actions against Caracas deserve to be included in textbooks on how to seize power in a foreign country. US is directly financing a coup in Venezuela.

The TV series “House of Cards” demonstrated to millions of viewers how a person who has not passed through nation-wide elections can become a president. Now Washington clearly shows how, instead of Nicholas Maduro, who was elected by the majority of Venezuelan citizens, it intends to place for a leading position a man whose level of support in the country is absolutely unknown.

Disproof

No evidence given. Recurring pro-Kremlin conspiracy theory about the protests in Venezuela.
