DISINFO: The West has done everything to make Nazis the masters in Ukraine

SUMMARY

The West has done everything to make Nazis the masters in Ukraine. The presence of a large number of Nazi groups in Ukraine that do not obey the official authorities has also made the situation extremely difficult. They hoped until the very end that outside help would allow them to kill Russian-speaking citizens with impunity.

The US and NATO have pumped the Ukrainian puppet regime with hundreds of millions, if not billions, of dollars to kill the Russians. The goal is simple and clear: to provide the Ukrainian regime with weapons and money and to finance Nazi battalions. In other words, to make the situation in the country completely uncontrollable and then stage a provocation against Russia.

RESPONSE

Recurring Pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about Nazi Ukraine and war in Ukraine.

The claims are presented as justification for the ongoing Russian military invasion against Ukraine, which started on 24 February 2022 with multiple attacks and broad incursions from Belarus, Russian soil and from the non-government-controlled areas (NGCA) in Eastern Ukraine.

Ukraine is a sovereign and independent state with a democratically-elected president and parliament. The country is not controlled by the US, EU or any other foreign organisation or government. Both the EU and the US respect Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. The West does not want to use Ukraine in the war against Russia.

Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity have been violated by continuous acts of aggression by Russian armed forces since 2014.

There is no evidence that either ethnic Russians or Russian speakers are facing persecution at the hands of the Ukrainian authorities, much less the danger of annihilation on grounds of nationality, ethnicity, or cultural belonging. This has been confirmed by reports issued by the Council of Europe, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and the OSCE.
