Disinfo: The West is blackmailing everyone: if you don't go to Bill Gates for a vaccine, millions will die

Summary

This is a matter of Russia’s security, which is quite frankly pushed to the limit: go to Bill Gates in the West and bow to him, get a vaccine, if you don’t go – millions will die. All this is too serious not to sound the alarm bells.

Recurrent pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative that blames the Microsoft founder and philanthropist Bill Gates and other “global elites” for the COVID-19 pandemic and for trying to exploit the situation to increase their wealth, to reduce the world’s population and/or to create a global surveillance network by vaccinating people in order to secretly install tracking chips inside them. There is no evidence for any of these claims. Most conspiracy theories about Bill Gates’ alleged project to use microchip implants to fight the coronavirus are based on a March 19 article posted on the 'Biohackinfo' website (see here). The 'Biohackinfo' article misleadingly says that “quantum dot dye,” a technology indeed founded by the Gates Foundation, would be used as “human-implantable capsules that have ‘digital certificates’ which can show who has been tested for the coronavirus”. Kevin McHugh, one of the lead authors of the “quantum dot dye” research paper, said, “The quantum dot dye technology is not a microchip or human-implantable capsule and to my knowledge there are no plans to use this for coronavirus.” The 'Biohackinfo' article also misleadingly quotes one of Gates’s remarks made in an interview given to Reddit. In this interview, Gates did mention the possibility of having a “digital certificate” for health records “eventually,” but he did not say these certificates would be microchip implants. Disinfo: Western elites implementing their plan X through pandemic

What is happening with the so-called pandemic in the world is the implementation of a certain plan of the Western elites. Or rather, transnational ruling classes. If the new coronavirus really was sudden for them, then COVID-19 appeared very much on time. In this case, it became the pretext for the implementation of a carefully thought-out plan X. In any case, we are dealing with the concealment of some kind of truth. One of two things: either this is a conspiracy of political leaders who, for some reason, are under the global “quarantine dictatorship”. Or the leaders received some secret information with no permission to disclose in order to avoid possible mass panic.

It has been the practice in the White House to invite representatives of the US media, and to give them some “advice” about what to focus on and what to neglect. In Moscow there is no such tradition, and any journalist or analyst has the right to write whatever they want.

Recurring pro-Kremlin narrative on Western media not being independent and biased while Russia protects freedom of speech and the press. Contrary to the claim, the Kremlin organises regular briefings with the leading media outlets to hand out instructions on how to write and about what.

According to the 2020 World Press Freedom Index, Russia is in 149th place out of 180 countries. On the other hand, the US according to the same index, ranks in 45th place.
