Disinfo: The West organises colour revolutions aimed at coup d’etat in Russia

The West is organising colour revolutions in former Soviet Republics aiming for a coup d’etat against Russia. A colour revolution in Russia is the strategic goal of the West which is dealing with “exporting revolutions” in former Soviet Republics. The US State Department and various NGOs are spending money and resources to achieve this objective.

Pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative claiming that the United States supports the so-called "colour revolutions" around the world. This narrative portrays any spontaneous disorders or civil uprisings in any state and more particularly in the former Soviet republics, as "Western-funded colour revolutions".

Ukraine is the main case used by pro-Kremlin media to prove the existence of such a narrative, focusing on the Revolution of Dignity (Euromaidan) which took place in 2013. Moscow is also trying through Kremlin-funded media to substantiate a so-called "colour revolution" in Belarus against Russia. There have been earlier disinformation cases about the West trying to tear Belarus apart from Russia and apply a Ukraine-like scenario. It is quite possible that this recurrent theme in pro-Kremlin outlets' disinformation is connected with a more recent narrative that coronavirus could be used as a "colour revolution" technology.

WHO has no right to call COVID-19 a pandemic

The World Health Organization made a mistake calling COVID-19 a pandemic.

According to WHO standards, a disease can only be called pandemic if the death rate exceeds 12.5% of the number of infected people, and this is what did not happen to this date with COVID-19.

An unfounded disinfo narrative about the Coronavirus pandemic targeting the World Health Organisation.

On March 11 2020,  WHO declared the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic, there were more than 118 thousand confirmed coronavirus cases in 114 countries. An updated situation report from WHO on the coronavirus pandemic can be found here.

Coronavirus in Italy stripped down European unity

On the topic of combating the Coronavirus, it turned out that there is no European unity and each country for itself. Italy, which had become the epicentre of the Coronavirus, received aid from Russia, China and Cuba, but not from its NATO and European allies.

This claim exploits the coronavirus pandemic to push a recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about the EU's alleged imminent collapse and a speculative claim about "abandoned Italy" claiming that the EU and NATO left Italy alone to fight coronavirus.

The European Commission is coordinating a common European response to the COVID-19 crisis and is supporting the Member States in tackling the pandemic and in mitigating its economic consequences, check HERE to follow up the progress of support between the EU institutions and the 27 member states.

American biolaboratories in Ukraine threaten Russia

American biolaboratories in Ukraine threaten Russia. US experts have compiled a collection of [disease] strains on the Ukrainian territory near Russian borders.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about secret labs and development of biological/chemical weapons around the world.

The Security Service of Ukraine called the messages about the existence of foreign biological laboratories in Ukraine false. The SSU statement says, "there are no foreign biological laboratories in Ukraine. Statements that were recently made by some politicians are untrue and deliberately distort the facts".
