This Week’s Trend: USA have forced EU to impose sanctions against Russia.
The decision on sanctions is taken unanimously by the 28 EU Member States as part of a policy approach. The allegation that external actors, including the USA, influence sanctions decisions of the EU has been repeatedly rebutted.
