DISINFO: Ukraine is not a country, it is a territory

SUMMARY

A country that does not punish those who are guilty is not a state, and those behind the “mass killings in Maidan and Odessa” have not been brought to justice.

RESPONSE

Repeated disinformation undermining the statehood and thus the territorial integrity of Ukraine. For hundreds of similar cases in the past, see https://euvsdisinfo.eu/disinformation-cases/?text=ukraine&disinfo_issue=&date= Ukraine is recognised in international law as a sovereign nation state, with its own flag, nationality, language etc. UNGA Resolution 68/262 also affirmed the General Assembly's commitment to the territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders: http://bit.ly/1RZGnjo. The protesters on Maidan were killed by Berkut, an elite police force loyal to President Yanukovych, against whom the Ukrainian people protested and who later fled to Russia.
