Summary

Ukraine was preparing to attack Belarus. If not for the preventive strike on Ukrainian positions, they would have attacked the exercising Belarussian and Russian troops only six hours later. Therefore, our conscience is clear. We did not start this war.

Disproof

Аn unfounded statement to divert attention from the role of Belarus, another false pretext to justify Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Belarus has served as a staging post for Russian troops, missiles and aircraft, both before and after Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine on February 24. In January 2022, Belarus hosted large joint military drills with Russia as Western leaders issued increasingly grave warnings of a possible attack on Ukraine.

The exercises were extended and then Belarus announced that the Russian troops would remain in the country, citing "the aggravation of the situation" in eastern Ukraine.

Although Lukashenko claims Belarusian troops have not joined the escalating conflict, Russian troops in Belarus have been allowed passage into Ukraine by Belarusian border guards and Belarus’s air defense and traffic control systems, along with the country’s fuelling stations, have also been made available to Moscow. Furthermore, Lukashenko has said his troops will partake in military action “if it is necessary for Belarus and Russia.” Lukashenka confirms that rockets are fired at Ukraine from the territory of Belarus. He called it a forced step.

The constitution of Belarus (Article 18) spells out its neutral status, which prohibits Minsk from taking part in hostilities (although the new constitution – the subject of a recent referendum – renounces Belarus’ non-nuclear and neutral status - see our article A Fake Referendum about the Rule of an Illegitimate President).

On 2 March 2022, the Council of the EU imposed further sanctions on Belarus for its role in the Russian military aggression of Ukraine. The UK and the U.S. Treasury have also imposed similar measures.

The facts of the Russian bombing of the maternity ward in Mariupol, taking place from 9 March 2022, are easily corroborated; the attack has been carefully documented with a large number of pictures from several sources – professional news photographers, social media updates and forensic investigators. Manuals for open source investigation of Russian troop movements are easily available.

Disinfo: US biolabs are responsible for virus outbreaks in Ukraine since 2008

The news about the presence of dozens of biological laboratories on the territory of Ukraine funded by the United States, in which biological weapons have been developed, is shocking. The fact that they specifically tested biological weapons was confirmed by US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, who expressed her concerns about the Russian military's control of biological samples.

Various outbreaks happened, and we only now understand why. Hepatitis Virus in 2008. The outbreak of hemorrhagic pneumonia in 2009, the cholera outbreak in 2011 that recurred in 2014 and 2015, the measles outbreak in 2016, also in 2016 swine flu, and in 2009 it was a “forgotten” strain. Hepatitis A in 2017, measles outbreak 2017-2019. In 2019, diphtheria outbreak. And this is only in Ukraine.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about US bio laboratories which is part of a continuous disinformation campaign led by the Kremlin, now accelerated with the Russian invasion and war in Ukraine.

In reality, the remarks by Victoria Nuland, the Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, were twisted in this case to provide “confirmation” of the disinformation campaign, while, as a matter of fact, Nuland’s statement about “biological research facilities” did not confirm allegations of bioweapons labs.
