Disinfo: Ukraine's withdrawal from the Minsk Agreements will lead to anti-Russian provocations in Donbas

Summary

Once Ukraine officially leaves the Minsk Process, it will lead to provocations that Russia will view as a threat against the local Russian population.

Disproof

Pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about Minsk Agreements.

In the past the President of Ukraine has called for revamping on the Minsk Agreements. But there is no basis for claims that Ukraine is intending to withdraw from the peace process let alone that it is planning "provocations" against the Russian population in East Ukraine.

Allegations of Russophobia are repeatedly at the centre of pro-Kremlin disinformation. Explore similar cases here.

Disinfo: The Belarusian history is limited to the history of the Russian world and the USSR

[In terms of history], the Belarusians appear in an even worse situation than the Ukrainians, who can appeal to the history of some groups such as the Zaporozhian Cossacks. The history of Belarus, in the understanding of its citizens, is the history of the local Orthodox population, the Russian world and the Soviet Union.

Disproof

This message is part of the Kremlin’s policy of historical revisionism and imperialism – it promotes the Russian “imperialist” idea that Belarus does not have any other history besides the history of the “Russian World” and the USSR.

The claim that the Belarusians believe that their history is limited to the history of the “Russian World” and the USSR is untrue. The Belarusian historiography counts the beginning of the Belarusian statehood from the Duchy of Polotsk (X century) and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. For several hundred years, Belarus was an integral part of the I Rzeczpospolita (Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth). Only at the end of the XVIII century, the territory of Belarus came under Russian control.

Disinfo: Vaccination is a globalists agenda, a biochemical attack on humanity

Vaccination is a means of biochemical war.

This is a globalist agenda - a biochemical attack on humanity. The establishment of a world government, the dismantling of states.

The goal of the globalists is to reduce the population, a genocide program to eradicate 3 billion people, approved years ago by the US State Department and US President Carter. Globalists are spreading artificial viruses and digital expansion.

Vaccines contain substances that are extremely dangerous for human health. Compulsory vaccination is terrorism.

Disproof

This is a recurring conspiracy theory about the coronavirus pandemic and one of the common pro-Kremlin disinformation narratives about a Deep State or a Shadow Government of Globalists ruling the world and aiming to reduce world population through pandemics and vaccination.

Elements of this disinformation campaign were exposed by independent Russian and international publications, and by the European External Action Service.

Disinfo: The government of Armenia obediently implements globalists' programmes

The government of Armenia, which was brought to power by the globalists in 2018, obediently implements their programmes.

The war in Artsakh, the perversion of the people, the vaccinations, all these are globalist programmes.

Disproof

A recurring narrative promoting the message about global elites secretly ruling the world, changing powers, provoking colour revolutions, and threatening traditional values. The disinfo claim also includes a recurring narrative about vaccinations as a globalists new plot against the world.

The idea of a "deep state" or global elites has always been very popular among conspiracy theorists.
