Disinfo: Ukrainian Nazis are equivalent to Taliban

Summary

Ukrainian Nazis are the equivalent of Taliban. When the Ukrainian Nazis come to power formally they will start cutting off heads.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about Nazi Ukraine, presented without any evidence. Russian state TV news and pro-Kremlin outlet takes advantage of the situation in Afghanistan to equal the situation in Ukraine and - wider - to predict the demise of what is called "US hegemony".

The disinformation message appeared in the same TV broadcast as the claim that the US proteges will have to flee like Ashraf Ghani.

See previous disinformation claims alleging that the cult of Nazi/fascism accomplices is part of the official ideology for the Kyiv regime; and Ukrainian nationalists-fascists surrendered the country to the Americans.

Disinfo: The US will flee Ukraine the way it is leaving Afghanistan

Trusting the support of the West, Ukraine is consistently marching on the path of Afghanistan.

Disproof

This disinformation narrative is aimed at comparing international support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as the ongoing Donbas War, with the withdrawal of US military forces from Afghanistan.

While the disinformation above considers Western support for Ukraine and international military presence in Afghanistan equal, there is no substantial evidence to back up the claim. Neither the US nor other Western countries have a permanent military presence in Ukraine and no Western army has ever taken part in the conflict in Eastern Ukraine. Consequently, the claim is aimed at distracting attention from the Kremlin's continuous support for the hostilities in Ukraine's Donbas region.

Disinfo: The American lobby protects anti-Polish and anti-Christian TV channel

The United States continues its pressure on the powerful pro-American lobby in Poland, which dominates all areas of politics, culture, science and economy. A good example here is the Polish position against Yamal 2 and Nord Stream 2: the American lobby blocked these projects in the interest of Washington. In the end, after the decision to complete Nord Stream 2, the American agents of influence in Poland faced a defeat and the Polish foreign policy was compromised.

The USA have realised another evident betrayal of Poland, which implements anti-Russian policies against its own interests. The vote in the Senate on “lex TVN” is a test of patriotism for the ruling Polish elite. This channel is 100% owned by foreign capital; it promotes anti-Polish and anti-Christian politics, propagating genderism and demoralising culture. This TV channel should never be present in Poland – finally, there is a chance to change that.

Disproof

A common pro-Kremlin narrative on “lost sovereignty” - in this case, projected on Poland. This country is often presented as a “puppet-state” of the United States, which fully controls the domestic and foreign policy of this country through the “omnipotent American lobby”.

The claim that Poland fights with the Nord Stream 2 because of activities of the pro-American lobby is unfounded. Poland and many other EU countries perceive this project as a serious security threat to Europe.

Disinfo: Russia does not interfere in other countries’ internal affairs

Accusations against Moscow of interfering in Washington’s affairs continue, but there is still no evidence of this.

The authors of these accusations do not provide any evidence or facts but set out only speculation, the purpose of which is to maintain a high degree of Russophobia in American society.

Moscow does not betray its principles of non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries.

Moreover, Russia categorically rejects all fabrications in its direction about "attempts to influence the political situation in the US".

Disproof

Recurrent pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative denying any Russian responsibility for interfering in other countries’ internal affairs, and especially in the elections, despite massive evidence to the contrary.

It is not true that there is no evidence to support Western accusations of Kremlin involvement in other countries' affairs. Russian interference in the US 2020 election has been established beyond doubt not only by US intelligence but also by law enforcement officials, journalists and researchers. Multiple attempts to influence the public discourse to favour one candidate over the other were uncovered throughout 2019 and 2020, though their ultimate success is disputed.
