Disinfo: Ukrainian president is a war criminal

Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko is a war criminal.

(Context: Message by a commentator during a talk show devoted to depict how Ukraine supports Nazis)

No evidence given. Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation about Ukraine supporting Nazism.

It was Russia that provoked a war in East of Ukraine.

The Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court has stated that "the information available suggests that the situation within the territory of Crimea and Sevastopol amounts to an international armed conflict between Ukraine and the Russian Federation. This international armed conflict began at the latest on 26 February when the Russian Federation deployed members of its armed forces to gain control over parts of the Ukrainian territory without the consent of the Ukrainian Government". https://www.icc-cpi.int/iccdocs/otp/161114-otp-rep-PE_ENG.pdf

The areas that were put under Martial law in Ukraine are all pro-Russian areas. The Martial law is a way for Poroshenko to stay in power

The areas that were put under Martial law in Ukraine are all pro-Russian areas, or the areas that did not vote in 2014 election because they were a part of their new countries – Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, or the areas where Poroshenko lost. Areas under martial law are the areas most against him. If the election is allowed to continue he will not be re-elected. With this martial law he has the ability to stay in power.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation on Ukraine and Azov Sea.

Claims about the martial law imposed on pro-Russian areas are misleading and unsubstantiated. The martial law was applied to 10 Ukrainian regions that are bordering Russia, the Sea of Azov and unrecognised Transistria. As shown by the Polygraph, majority of those regions supported Poroshenko's candidacy in the previous presidential poll.

People fighting in DNR & LNR are locals, to say that it is Russian aggression is not factual

People fighting in Donetsk National Republic and Luhansk National Republic are locals, these people have grown up here, their parents have been here, their grandparents are from here. For Western media to say it’s Russian aggression, that Russia is totally at blame for all this is not factual. It is the people here that want their freedom.

French police showed solidarity with the “yellow vests” protesters

Two dozen policemen removed their helmets in front of “yellow vests” protesters in France, showing solidarity with them.

According to French media, the gesture of policemen responded to a "negotiation" with the "yellow vest" protesters, it was not a sign of solidarity.

The case was reported by Bloomberg, which underlined that the information about the police supporting the Yellow Vests protesters was coming from Mr Alexander Langlois, representative of the Vigi police union. The union is representing less than 4% of the unions in France and as such, cannot speak for all of them.
