Disinfo: Ukrainians have suffered from the American vaccine testing

Summary

Ukrainians have suffered from the American vaccine trials.

Johnson & Johnson conducted testing in third world countries: Africa, South America, as well as In Ukraine. And then suddenly the company announced that it was stopping vaccine testing since they had identified some kind of unexplained illness in one of the patients. It is quite possibly a side effect, and therefore they are now dramatically slowing down.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about COVID-19 and vaccines that are being developed by Western countries.

No evidence is given. No vaccine trials are currently being conducted in Ukraine. In October 2020, Ukraine received the first application for third phase trials of the European manufacturer in the country.

"As soon as approval is obtained, and this is done by order of the Ministry of Health, all information about clinical trials becomes available immediately. This study examines clinical centres with researchers from the following cities: several centres in Kyiv, several centres in Vinnitsya, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk," said Director of the State Expert Centre of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Tetyana Dumenko.

Johnson & Johnson said that it had temporarily halted its COVID-19 vaccine trial because one of its participants had become sick. "We have temporarily paused further dosing in all our COVID-19 vaccine candidate clinical trials, including the phase 3 ENSEMBLE trial, due to an unexplained illness in a study participant," the company said in a statement.

Biden’s son has photos of underage girls on his laptop

The lawyer of US President Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, said that sexual materials related to minors were allegedly found in the laptop of the son of presidential candidate Joe Biden.

According to the messages that Trump’s lawyer showed, Hunter Biden allegedly wrote to his father that Hallie Biden accused him of inappropriate behaviour with minors – she did not like that naked Hunter was talking on FaceTime with a 14-year-old girl whose name was deliberately hidden in the correspondence.

Disproof

Conspiracy theory against the son of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, accusing him of paedophilia. This is a recurring message, consistent with the pro-Kremlin's constant attacks against the US Democratic Party.

There is no evidence that a laptop previously belonging to Hunter Biden contains child pornography. The allegation originated on the anonymous internet forum 4Chan, a known source of online disinformation. See more on PolitiFact.com. Joe Biden, at the same time, called this information a "desperate smear campaign against him and his family".

The Pope supports same-sex couples because Catholicism is about business

The Pope supports same-sex couples because Catholicism is “corporation and a business”, not a spiritual community. This is the main difference between Russia and the West, the Russian Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church. The Pope wants to make money. It is important for him that there is a full house on St. Peter’s Square so that mugs and T-shirts with the Pope are sold profitably.

Disproof

This disinformation message is consistent with recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narratives about Western moral decay. In this case, the article represents an attempt to defamation of Catholic Church and Pope Francis.

This message comes as the reaction to Pope Francis's recent call for civil union laws for same-sex couples. In a documentary directed by Evgeny Afineevsky, Pope Francis made the comments, which observers say are his clearest remarks yet on gay relationships.

Kyiv puts Russophobia above the health of its citizens

Kyiv puts Russophobia above the health of its citizens.

Disproof

A new addition to the recently developed pro-Kremlin narrative about the Russian coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V.

The disinformation claim comes as a reaction to the fact that Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy publicly stated that Ukraine will not buy the Russian vaccine against COVID-19. According to the Health Minister of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov, there is no evidence that the Russian vaccine has undergone all stages of clinical trials, especially the third one.
