Disinfo: Unlike Russia, Poland is a defenceless country fully dependent on the USA

Summary

Here is the main difference between Putin’s Russia and Kaczynski’s Poland. Russia has real sovereignty, independence from the US Embassy and hypersonic weapons. In its turn, as a result of the actions of its leadership, Poland is a defenceless country dependent on the United States.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about “lost sovereignty”. Poland is often presented as a “puppet-state” of the United States, Germany or Brussels. This narrative includes a message that the United States manipulates Poland and other European allies in order to carry out its anti-Russian policies.

Poland is a sovereign state, which shapes its own foreign and domestic policies. The statement that Poland is “defenceless” should be considered as military disinformation. Currently, the Polish Armed forces count about 105.000 soldiers and officers, which makes this Army the 9th largest among NATO countries and 7th largest among EU countries. Moreover, in the coming years, there are plans to increase the size of the Polish Army by 50% to 150.000. It means that in the near future, the size of the Polish Army will be comparable to the largest EU countries (UK - 146.000, Italy – 174.000, Germany – 178.000).

Besides its comparably large size, the Polish Army is equipped with a significant number of military equipment (mainly tanks and armoured fighting vehicles). According to the Global Firepower Index, the Polish Army occupies 9th position among NATO countries by total military strength.

Disinfo: LNG terminal is too expensive for Lithuania

Lithuania will pay for the consultations of experts who will advise how to redeem the LNG terminal-ship Independence. This project is too expensive for Lithuania. The employment of the experts is an additional investment. The LNG terminal project was not successful for Lithuania because it wants to be independent of Russian gas but is now exporting gas to the terminal mainly from Russia and Norway. The LNG terminal is economically useless, and Lithuania is paying for its political phobias.

Disproof

Disinformation around Lithuania's LNG terminal.

The building of the LNG terminal in Klaipeda harbor in 2014 ended Lithuania's energy and economic dependence on Russian gas. It broke the Russian gas monopoly in the country and ensures Lithuania's energy security.

Disinfo: As a president, Joe Biden will continue the demonisation of Russia

Old Joe intends to continue the demonisation of Russia. That means that any mistake he makes can always be attributed to the creepy Moscow and insidious Putin.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation on Joe Biden, mixed with a narrative alleging that the US indulges in anti-Russian politics.

Joe Biden does not demonise Russia but points out the problems that exist between the two countries. He especially criticised the Kremlin's aggressive actions against Ukraine and called on Putin to end the occupation of Crimea. However, Joe Biden and Russia's current leadership have similar views on nuclear arms control. Joe Biden has already said that he would seek ways to extend the New START treaty for another five years.

Disinfo: Twitter, Facebook and Google are meddling into US elections and Russia

Now the US has another trouble. Large IT companies are meddling in their election: Twitter, Facebook, Google. They are censoring the republicans, smearing Trump and dominating with their pretense to determine what is good and what isn’t for billions of people and for the Americans.

Is this meddling? 100%. The rule by the people that were not elected. […] What gives them the right to meddle in elections? Never mind American, but Russian? And Russian way of life as such?

Disproof

Pro-Kremlin disinformation about Western social media companies and censorship. The disinformation message appeared after YouTube flagged a broadcast of "Vesti Nedeli" as potentially inappropriate or offensive to some audiences. Despite the label users wishing to view the content can still do so.

There is no basis to the claims that social media companies such as Twitter, Facebook or Google were meddling in the US election or engaging in censorship. Ahead of the 2020 Presidential election in the US the companies took it upon themselves to adopt additional measures to protect the integrity of election, which included promoting authoritative information, limiting political ads, and labelling misleading information among other means. The companies apply these measures in line with the community standards that users accept upon using the platforms.
