“Ukrainians in the Polish Army in 1612 allegedly seized Moscow (…) Of course it was a big government, a commonwealth, with Poles and Lithuanians, there could have been people who weren’t Poles, and those who would later call themselves Ukrainians, but in 1612 the word ‘Ukraine’ was not heard anywhere”, said Vladimir Zhirinovsky, head of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia.
US and its puppets like [Ukrainian president] Petro Poroshenko fear the [Donbas] elections because any electoral campaign produces an independent world. Kyiv and the US do not want the Donbas to have its own voice and representatives.
Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation about US role in Ukraine. The elections were held in Donbas, Ukraine, on 11 November by Russian-backed separatists and were not recognised by the international community. The elections were illegal under Ukrainian law, illegitimate and in violation of the Minsk Agreements. The EU stated that "the announcement that so-called "elections" will be held in the so-called "Luhansk People's Republic" and "Donetsk People's Republic" on 11 November 2018 runs contrary to the spirit and letter of the Minsk agreements, which have specific provisions regarding the organisation of local elections in that region." The European Union fully supports the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognised borders.
