For background on NATO-Russia relations see here.

In 2016, NATO deployed four multinational battlegroups ─ or “enhanced forward presence” ─ to Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. In 2017, the battlegroups became fully operational. More than 4,500 troops from Europe and North America work closely together with home defence forces.

As part of NATO Allies’ commitment to transparency, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania hosted Russian arms control inspectors in November 2017 and in March 2018. They toured a number of military sites, including some used by the multinational NATO battlegroups.

// One of the commentators at the studio also notes that he studied military translation and interpreting in German at university, which does not imply that the country was then preparing to wage war against Germany.

Despite sanctions, Crimea will open its representation in Brussels

The representation of the Republic of Crimea in Brussels will become the first public organization in the EU that will legitimately promote the interests of the peninsula.

Disproof

No evidence given. Recurring pro-Kremlin narrative about alleged recognition of Crimea by international actors.

The EU does not recognise and continues to condemn this violation of international law. It remains committed to fully implementing its non-recognition policy, including through restrictive measures. On 18 June 2018, the Council extended the restrictive measures in response to the illegal annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol by Russia until 23 June 2019.

Ukraine is moving toward total Nazi ideology

Russia did not steal 7 per cent of Ukrainian territory, Ukraine is moving toward total Nazi ideology.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation about Ukraine and the Nazis that is repeated ever since the outbreak of the Euromaidan revolution. euvsdisinfo.eu/disinformation-cases/?text=Ukraine&disinfo_issue=&disinfo_keywords%5B%5D=77101&date=

The spontaneous onset of the Euromaidan protests was a reaction of large parts of the Ukrainian population to former President Yanukovych’s sudden departure from the Association Agreement with the European Union in November 2013. The total number of members of radical groups, e.g. the "Right Sector", never amounted to more than a few hundred to a maximum of a thousand people. The vast majority of the protesters (up to two million at one time nationwide) consisted of peaceful Ukrainian citizens: bit.ly/1Tl9X7W.

Poroshenko dismissed and ignored in Paris

Poroshenko was invited at the last moment to the Paris commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. His plane was parked far away from other leaders’ airplanes at the Charles de Gaulle airport, and US president Donald Trump refused to shake Poroshenko’s hand.

Disproof

No evidence given, TV show uses misleading footage to justify false messages. The Ukrainian president was invited to Paris at the same time as all the other delegations. The TV show refers to a tweet by spokesperson of the Ukrainian president Svyatoslav Tsegolko to make the claim about the last minute invitation, but there is no such tweet.

The Ukrainian airplane was parked where there was room at the airport, next to the Boeing 747 of the Qatar Emir. The image shown in the program is zoomed in to not to show the surrounding aircrafts.
