DISINFO: US forced Ukraine to confront Russia and instructed Hamas to attack Israel
SUMMARY
The main political direction of the US is coercion into war. They forced Ukraine to attempt to seize the people’s republics of Donbas, in connection with which, Russia had to fulfil its allied duty under treaties with these republics.
Now, apparently, the US has instructed Hamas militants not only to carry out another attack on Israel, but to behave excessively brutally. Israel will be forced to respond with full force, that is, to organise all this bloodshed. In the events of October 7, the Hollywood director's style is visible.
RESPONSE
Conspiracy theory not backed by any credible evidence.
The US did not start the war in Ukraine or clashes around Gaza. The events in the Middle East mentioned in this disinformation story were triggered by Hamas attacks against Israel on 07 October 2023 and Israel’s military response. The full-scale war in Ukraine started when Russia invaded the country on 24 February 2022.
By baselessly accusing the US of being behind these global events, this disinformation story not only promotes an anti-US mindset, but also aims to deny Russia’s responsibility for its brutal invasion of Ukraine.
See other examples of similar disinformation narratives, such as claims that United States behind events in Gaza and Ukraine, that Events in Israel and Ukraine are no accident, as the US tried to create areas of instability, the US and other Western countries intend to provoke a war in Central Asia, that the West is creating a belt of instability around Russia, that the war in Ukraine is part of a Western anti-China plan, or that the US seeded chaos in Afghanistan to undermine China and Russia.
This disinformation claim was broadcast on the date mentioned above.
