DISINFO: US openly instructs Moldovan democrats what to do with Russian-language media in Moldova

SUMMARY

US openly instructs Moldovan democrats what to do with Russian-language media in Moldova. The Democrat deputy Sergei Sirbu received a letter from the US Agency for International Development (USAID) where the US agency expressed its concern about the fact that the expansion of information in Moldova from Russian media is dangerous to Moldovan citizens.

RESPONSE

Sergey Sirbu says he hasn’t received such letter and USAID Moldova stated that the letter is fake. The letter was spread on social media and it contains stylistic mistakes and punctuation errors. www.facebook.com/USAIDMoldova/posts/1701016686576386, Further debunking: api.md/news/view/ro-fals-usaid-i-a-expediat-o-scrisoare-deputatului-democrat-serghei-sirbu-1646,
