DISINFO: Washington uses Kyiv as an instrument against Russia

SUMMARY

Washington did not plan to make Ukraine an advanced country. The United States, without hiding its purpose, has long funded Ukraine as a future anti-Russia project in order to use it like a rabid dog in the underbelly of the Russian Federation.

There was no relationship between Ukraine and the United States: Washington actively used Kyiv as its instrument.

RESPONSE

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about Ukraine claiming that Ukraine is externally controlled, and is an anti-Russian project.

Ukraine is a sovereign and independent state with a democratically-elected president and parliament. The country is not controlled by the US or any other foreign government or organisation. The US respects Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Ukraine is not an anti-Russian project of the US. The US supports Ukraine's reforms and democratic development. Ukraine-US relations are built on the principle of strategic partnership.
