Disinfo: Western media hide the real causes of the migration crisis on Belarus borders

Western responsibility for the massive fleeing of people from countries attacked by the US and its allies never appears in the speeches of the leaders of the so-called ‘Free World’ nor in the dominant press. It is clear the intention to silence the obvious causes of this situation, which has nothing to do with Russia nor Belarus but is directly linked to NATO’s military interventions in countries like Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya and other countries attacked by Western powers. The West will never address its responsibility and fault and will keep its citizens in their ignorance through its addictive press that permanently hides the realities and truths. Press freedom is a great lie in the West.

This is part of an ongoing disinformation campaign on the migration crisis on the EU-Belarus border, aiming to deflect attention away from Minsk’s responsibility in orchestrating it by accusing Western powers of creating the conditions for a wave of refugees.

Contrary to the claim, there is massive evidence showing that the Belarusian regime engineered the crisis artificially by creating a new migratory route in order to put pressure on the EU. Multiple investigations both by European officials and by media showed that those migrants were being brought to Belarus from Iraq, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates on commercial flights, a trip encouraged and supported by Belarusian authorities. Information gathered also suggests that migrants are regularly transported by bus to the Belarusian-Lithuanian border. More information about Lukashenka's role in the organisation of the current migration crisis can be found here and here.

As much of this evidence has been uncovered by Western independent media, this disinformation story aims to discredit these sources by accusing them of being accomplices in “hiding the truth”. The claim that there is no press freedom in the West is also a frequent pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative.

See other examples of similar disinformation narratives, such as claims that the US and the EU are to blame for the migration crisis at the EU-Belarus border, that the EU organised the crisis and will continue doing so in other countries, or that the EU adopts sanctions on Belarus to manage its own internal contradictions.

Disinfo: In Italy, a tyrannical government has turned police forces into the Gestapo

In Italy, similarly to Australia, New Zealand and other Western countries, a tyrannical government has turned the police forces into a “health Gestapo” exploiting the coronavirus pandemic.

Recurrent pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative claiming that Western governments have exploited the coronavirus pandemic in order to abolish liberal democracies and establish dictatorships.

Various lockdown measures taken by the Western democracies aim to protect public health against the COVID-19 virus, which has killed millions of people worldwide and is a real danger for populations around the world.

Disinfo: Nations are ruled by the dictatorship of the global billionaires elite

Nations have lost their sovereignty and are ruled by the dictatorship of the global billionaires elite.

A recurring pro-Kremlin narrative about secret global elites that dominate the world, control governments and are establishing a dictatorship over the world’s population. In the US, these elites are identified as the Deep State.

Analysts and researchers have pointed out that anti-Western conspiracy theories about all-powerful secret elites are a political tool used by the Kremlin to strengthen the domestic stability of the current regime and expand its influence abroad by emphasising Russia’s moral superiority

Disinfo: The 2020 US presidential election was massively corrupt

The 2020 US presidential election was massively corrupt. In the swing states Trump had a strong lead until the polls closed for the night. Then a wave of false votes was sent to polling stations in large inner Democratic-dominated cities, and by the time the polls were reopened, Biden was mysteriously ahead in every state.

Recurring disinformation about fraud in the 2020 US presidential elections, also aimed at discrediting the United States and liberal democracies.

It is not true, as the article claims, that a wave of false votes was sent to polling stations in large inner Democratic-dominated cities during the night. There is no evidence that the US 2020 presidential elections were fraudulent. Allegations of electoral fraud have been dismissed more than 60 times by different US courts and judges, both Republican and Democrat, due to lack of any significant evidence, including the Supreme Court on two occasions.
