The West and specifically the EU has imposed restrictive measures, including sectoral sanctions, as a result of the of the illegal annexation of Crimea and Russia's destabilising actions in eastern Ukraine.

Formats such as regular high-level dialogues remain suspended in the absence of the full implementation of the Minsk agreements by Russia.

There is no evidence to support the article's claims that militant groups of African Americans are intimidating or physically threatening Trump supporters, let alone that they are doing it on behalf of the US Democratic Party. The claims about the racial war, Apartheid in the US or state collapse also do not reflect reality. Attempts to exagerrate, fuel and exploit racial tensions in the US date back to the USSR and are continued by contemporary pro-Kremlin media outlets.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative on freedom of speech and press, which alleges that Western governments are increasingly limiting the freedom of expression and the independence of the media.

In fact, freedom of expression is under increasing pressure in Russia. Human Rights Watch's 2020 report highlighted the persecution and arrest of journalists and citizens in Russia following the tightening of restrictive measures on the freedom of expression, aiming especially to crack down on online activities on the basis of a 2019 law that increased the government’s censoring power over the media.

The head of the Russian state is able to independently make decisions, assume certain obligations and fulfill them. As for the head of Ukraine, unfortunately, he will have to call Washington after any negotiations. Zelensky, after a meeting with Putin, if it takes place, will be obliged to coordinate his actions with Washington.
