A man, who took passengers hostage in Ukrainian city of Lutsk had been kicked out of neo-Nazi battalion “Azov” for perversion.
The effect of the pseudo-humanitarian activities of the “white helmets” is quite destructive. First, these are provocations. Secondly, the motive of these provocations is the further indulgence of further illegal actions on the part of the so-called Western community. This is simply the destruction of people’s lives. Remember the Syrian children, who were splashed with something there, in an attempt to bring them into a state that would look like some kind of attack by the Syrian authorities. It was filmed, photographed, recorded, then it turned out that these were all staged pictures.
Recurrent disinformation narrative on white helmets. The White Helmets movement originated in Syria in 2012. The organisation, which is made up of 3,400 volunteers including teachers, engineers, tailors and firefighters, states that it has no affiliation to any political or military actor and is committed to rendering services to anyone in need. Volunteers save people from the rubble after bombings, despite the danger of dying themselves as a result of repeated airstrikes. White Helmets activists have documented the use of chemical weapons in Syria, later confirmed by the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). Thus, OPCW said it found reasonable grounds to believe that chlorine was used as a weapon in the Douma district of Eastern Ghouta, Syria in April 2018. Because of these awareness-raising activities, the White Helmets have become the target of a prolific and aggressive Russian disinformation campaign seeking to delegitimise their humanitarian efforts and paint them as proxies of Western intelligence to undermine the Assad regime. Read previous disinformation claims alleging that evidence confirms chemical attacks in Syria were falsified by the White Helmets, and that the White Helmets performs criminal activities and is an arm of British and American intelligence. Syrian regime commissioned a documentary on staged chemical attacks. Russian Vesti Nedeli TV programme presented pictures from this fiction movie as documentary evidence of the staged attacks. See further information on The Insider. RT France received a reprimand from French regulator for the report on "staged chemical attacks" in Syria. The reprimand was maintained by the State Council. The regulator found that instead of present such a point of view as an opinion, this Russian media presented it as an established fact with nobody rebuffing it.
